Attorney Toscano has been serving the State of Vermont as a prosecutor in the Washington County State’s Attorney’s Office for the last three years. As an infantry officer in the United States Marine Corps Reserves, he also currently serves as the company commader for the headquarters company of the 25th Marines Regiment. Prior to coming to Vermont, he deployed to Anbar, Iraq and served in the operations section with 4th Force and 2nd Force Reconnaissance Companies. He holds a Juris Doctorate from Boston College Law School and a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics from the University of Massachusetts. He is licensed to practice law in Vermont, Hawaii and Massachusetts.
His wife, Sharyl, teaches nursing at the University of Vermont. They have two children: Their daughter Phoebe is almost one and is learning to walk. Their son Christopher is almost six and getting ready for his second season of cross ice hockey. Both hold lifetime NRA memberships and Vermont hunting and fishing licenses.
